I was blessed by the opportunity to accompany my charming and handsome husband on his recent business trip to San Francisco. It was a rare time for just the two of us to get away without the kiddos. Grammy and Grandpa held down the fort in Casper so that I could relax and enjoy myself during the daytime hours while Phil attended leadership sessions. We took advantage of the evenings to spend together.

Burlingame, CA.
Definitely not Wyoming trees.
This is the view looking down into the atrium from our 8
th floor room.
Ahhh....just seeing this photograph of my "quiet time" chair brings back peaceful memories. I took advantage of every moment to read and relax.
After arriving on Wednesday night, Phil introduced me to Benihana's -- a J
apanese steakhouse.
Think of Karate Kid - "Wax on, wax off."
We were right across the street from the SF Bay and within walking distance of the airport.
Although the temperature was never above 70 degrees, it felt revitalizing to catch a few rays.
On our final night in San Francisco, we ventured into the city and Fisherman's Wharf via four forms of public transportation - bus, subway, trolley, and cable car. Phil snapped this photo of me as we emerged from the subway at the famous Powell and Hyde trolley turn-around.
Our final destination -- Scoma's Restaurant on the wharf, a place we had dined at together on a previous visit. Shellfish Saute for Phil and Seafood Cioppino for Jodi.

Glad you all had a fun time in Arizona, and loved the Lego cake of Timothy's!
