Travel Plans: Drive to Tucson.
Before we left Tuesday morning, I snapped some pictures of the Blakemore's home. Just sitting here typing this makes me yearn to sit at the side of the pool right now.
Some people are snow lovers -- not this warm-blooded girl. Sunshine next to an ocean or pool would always be my first pick for any vacation getaway.

Before leaving, Timothy and Savannah played and sang a duet.
Next Stop: Brenda's dad's (Jud) house just north of Tucson.
Even though it was still a little breezy, the pool was heated and there weren't enough parents to keep the kids out of it! Sarah stopped long enough for a quick picture.
Lindsay is on a mission.
Brenda and I preferred to stay dry as the wind was a tad bit chilly. But the sunshine on our faces felt marvelous and the chips, salsa and guacamole tasted great.
Timothy had more fun after he got out of the pool. While the girls ate, he shot Blake with his water gun. No matter how many times Blake got hit and acted as if he were sinking, Timothy roared with laughter.
Savannah found it equally amusing.
Lots of excitement and laughter.
Chips for lunch are a good start for Aly and Allie.
Thanks Brenda and Jud for letting us crash your party with a swim and a picnic. Szymczak family -- it was great to travel with you for part of this vacation!
