Meal Plan for the Week

Cheryl over at Moms in Need of Mercy has been posting her menu plan the last couple of weeks. I was inspired to make a detailed one like hers and TRY TO STICK TO IT!

There are a few things I need to get at the store tomorrow, but most of the things I have on hand already! I have listed breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a snack idea. So without further delay -- here it is!
Monday
Oatmeal and Fruit
Hot dogs, cheesy noodles and mandarin oranges
Rib steaks, loaded baked potatoes, green beans with almonds, rolls

Snacks: Yogurt parfaits (Make fresh batch of granola)

Tuesday
Cereal and juice (it’s Bible Study today, so keeping it simple!)
PB&J sandwiches, chips, carrot & celery sticks and fruit
White chicken chili soup from in freezer (thanks, honey!) and tortillas and crackers.

Snacks: Chips, salsa and guacamole

Wednesday
Eggs and cheesy hash browns
French Dip sandwiches, apple slices, fresh veggies and ranch
Baked crumbled chicken, rice, broccoli with lemon sauce

Snacks: Cranberry Swirl Loaf (new recipe I want to try)

Thursday

French toast and yogurt
Tuna noodle salad, bread and fruit
Roast beef, garlic mashed potatoes, gravy and corn

Snacks: S’more muffins

Friday
Breakfast casserole and muffins
Leftovers
Pizza and Salad -- then off to our first swim meet!

Snacks: Popcorn

Saturday

Pancakes, bacon, sausage and eggs (Dad’s specialty!)
Soup and sandwiches
Pork ribs, apple-walnut stuffing, creamed peas and carrots

Snacks: Milk and cookies

looks good! :) I am curious to try your breakfast casserole muffins, and the smores ones, and the cranberry swirl loaf :) If you get time, could you copy the recipes for me (or if they're online, send me the links)? You should link your menu plan up to orgjunkie.com. Here is the link

Everyone's well this week so we are planning on Bible study tomorrow! And yes, let's plan a play date soon! This week is busy with dr/dentist appt's but next week looks pretty good :)

YUM. That looks like a fun menu! YUM. Ya, sticking to it is key. We are on a very tight budget right now so we can save, just in case Nolan gets his hours cut, and in case we move. It's amazing how much you save when you stick to what you have in your house already.
