Christmas County Spelling Bee

The kids are busy practicing for their Sunday School play -- The Christmas County Spelling Bee. It's a darling play that talks about all the different names of Jesus.

Sarah and Lindsay are cheerleaders and Sarah is also a spelling bee contestant and has a part in the manger scene. Allie has several small solos throughout the play. They will sing about 10 songs as part of the play. They will present the play at Cornerstone EFree Church on Dec. 14.

All of the kids got together and decorated a float in order to participate in Casper's Annual Christmas Holiday Parade. Some of their songs were choreographed to lights on the parade and the kids had a blast riding through downtown Casper singing songs about Jesus!

Here they are all bundled up and loaded in the car on the way to the parade. Savannah had so many layers of clothing on she couldn't move.

Phil and I walked along pushing Savannah's stroller and ended up carrying Timothy because he was scared to ride on the float?! It was a beautiful crisp, cool night with no snow and minimal wind.

Timothy is snuggled in between Blake and Logan

Looking at the float from the back. The whole length of the trailer was lined with banners that the kids painted with the different names of Jesus.
