Bible Verse of the Day:
“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20)  listen to chapter  (Read by Max McLean. Provided by The Listener's Audio Bible.)

Hiking Laramie Peak

Yep -- We did it.

We (Michelle, Skye, Teresa, Kayla, Phil and I) hiked to the top of Laramie Peak. Round trip took about 4 1/2 hours. The trail is approximately 5 miles one way and rises from 7,200 feet to 10,200 feet elevation.

At the beginning.

First rest point.

Phil and I at the 2 mile mark.

About 4 miles into the trail.

You can do it, Phil!

Hooray - At the top. The last portion was steep and rocky. It was freezing by the time we got to top. There were low clouds and the wind was gusting. We spent about 25 minutes looking around and eating snacks.

From the backside.

Another view from a different angle. Phil does not like heights so we did not venture far once he arrived on top.

AWESOME. As I said, we should look into Cloud Peak up here in the Big Horns. I'm not sure of the elevation but I understand it's quite a hike!!!
Nice job!!!
