The Hubert-Peoples-Pier Family Vacation Adventure ~ Part 10

Allie and Lindsay swim on the swim team in Casper. We don't generally travel to the out of town meets, so they were excited to see that the Rapid City Invitational would be held while we were there on vacation.


Grammy and Grandpa were excited to watch the girls swim in a meet.



Tim and Savannah thoroughly appreciated the outdoor setting of this meet. Running around freely ranked much higher in their books than sitting on hard bleachers in a stuffy, humid indoor swimming pool area.

Shauna and Matt and their kids stopped by for a few races. They got to meet our adopted dog, Royal. He belongs to friends of ours, but we get to keep him at our house occasionally.

Savannah kept Grandpa entertained in the shade.

This backstroke race for Lindsay was hilarious! I think she doubled the meters swam because she weaved back and forth the entire time. We totally forgot about the fact the she would be looking directly into the sun with nothing to guide her in a straight line.
