Mother's Day and May Update
We are busy, busy, busy here. It seems May just started and it's almost half over. I was able to attend a mini retreat with the women's group of our church. The topic was on prayer and journaling and the weekend was a nice, relaxing getaway. The kids finish school on the 29th, but not before many actvities will take place. Allie has a field trip to Fort Laramie and a music concert. Sarah and Lindsay start soccer on Monday, May 12. Lindsay will participate in a Kindergarten celebration. The three big girls have a fun track and field day, planned for Wednesday, with nice weather and sunshine expected. We are gearing up for a big road trip on June 3-17. We will be celebrating Jodi's dad's 70th birthday in Ohio and seeing Phil's family in St. Louis and Chicago. Watch for upcoming posts.

A nice shade of cotton candy frost.................
Dancing and Playing and Cooing
Here are some fun videos:
Timothy dancing, Allie playing her recorder, and Savannah "talking".
I think we need to teach Timothy how to get his feet off the floor.
The 4th graders at Allie's school had a recorder concert in May. Here is a little sample of 50+ 4th graders playing all at once. Allie also participated in a quartet as part of the concert. Bravo, Allie!!
Savannah is learning to use her voice. Hang in there for the first 25 seconds of the video, and then she gets going.
Candid Camera
The girls were in a silly mood one morning before school so instead of prodding them along like I usually have to, I turned on the video. They thought I was taking a picture and when I told them they were on candid camera, they froze momentarily, but jumped right back into their silly antics. Below is a still photo of their priceless expressions.
Sweet Savannah
It's Winter Again.....
Timothy enjoys making fresh tracks in the front yard.
A big smile and a wave from Savannah
Tis the season for homemade ice cream - mint chocolate chip, that is.
